AMERICAN BORN CHINESE: (rap!!)

(Topic Sentence): In American Born Chinese the theme is to fit in, the Monkey King, Danny, and also Jin.
Now here's the story of a boy named Jin and a theme is born as he tries to fit in.

(Context): When Jin first comes to a different school, everyone thinks he's a great big fool. As soon as he brings in some Chinese food, everyone thinks he's a dog-eating dude. yo!
(Evidence): When Jin first brings in some dumplings, everyone thinks that he's eating dogs. They start to make fun of him. From then on, Jin brought in a sandwich so people would stop humiliating him. yo!
(Analysis): Now here's the analysis this shows that Jin started to gripe because that's a stereotype.
(Context): Also there's Danny and when his cousin arrives, he thinks he will ruin his and every one's lives. When his cousin first comes to a new school, everyone thinks he's a total fool. But this is a problem because Danny's cousin puts danger to his social life because he embodies all the stereotypes. But this leaves him no choice because Danny leaves his school, because of his cousin has turned him very uncool.
(Evidence): "By the time he leaves, no one thinks of me as Danny anymore. They think of me as Chin-Kee's cousin," Danny says. Danny seems to not fit in just because of his cousin. YO!
(Analysis): Danny soon leaves the school,because he is embarrassed, life is exactly the opposite of living in a palace! But soon Danny's girlfriend really liked him, but she recommends that they should really just be friends. yo!
(Context): Also there's the Monkey King he thinks that, he can practice Kung-Fu just like that!! But people don't like him every one in the land because he is a monkey which can't be let in because he has no hands. yo!

(Evidence): The Monkey King is great at Kung-fu and he thinks that he should be let in the heavens in order to have a great dinner but nobody thinks he should be let in because he is different. He soon starts to be competitive but he soon learns that being the monkey is the best thing ever. yo!
(Analysis): Well now you know that you don't have to fit in, being yourself is the most important thing. You should appreciate who you are, then you can be an amazing star.
(Conclusion): Overall, you don't have to fit in. It isn't the most important thing. Don't be discouraged of what you do just all you gotta do is be you!! You should always accept who you are and in this case, your relatives, your culture, and how you look. Oh and American Born Chinese was a very good book!! YO!
