I Want to Be

I want to be someone who's bold and daring. I want to be someone who people look up to because I tried. I like to dance, but I'm not so sure if that's the way to be something important, someone. Maybe it is. Sometimes I want to shout and make people pay attention to me. I want to be like Lindsey Vauhn, who won an Olympic medal for skiing with a hurt leg. I want to be something like the first woman major league baseball player. (I don't know any baseball.) But anyone who are looked up to and have strength this way seem to be 'the boss,' famous, or fiction. I guess we all need to figure out how to be our own little heroes in life, but how? The bigwigs in my life don't seem to listen to me or care, but they pay attention to the bigger bigwigs. We are all people! Sure, there's a boss, but the boss needs to listen and understand the people growing under them. Brilliance will emerge, but not if there are walls as guidelines. Sometimes, you have to figure out those guidelines for yourself, without some boss telling you what to do.
